No matter what your reasons are, you may soon get bored with consistent notifications. You really would like to leave the group but you still hesitate. As soon as you take part in a new group on Facebook, by default you are automatically subscribed to all notifications. your notifications feed can be filled with unnecessary group notifications when some of the members post a status to the group. How to disable notifications for Facebook groups on iOS devices
Step one: First off, you need to launch the Facebook app on your iPhone or iPad
Step two: Next up, tap the hamburger menu in the bottom right corner of the app (it looks like three stacked lines)
Step three: Now, you can scroll down and tap on Settings
Step four: Once you are done, you will see Account Settings on the screen. Please, tap on it
Step five: Tap Notifications
Step six: You now need to tap Group posts
Step seven: You will be required to tap the name of the group for which you would like to adjust notifications
Step eight:Finally, you just need to tap Off under both Notifications categories to disable notifications
In case you attempt to turn off notifications, but you still see updates in your notifications section, the best shot now is to unfollow that Facebook group.
