Apple has just released the second public beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.5 to beta testers. Users can use this software update to fix any behind-the-scenes issues and improve overall performance. However, the update does not add any major forward facing new features.
Accordingly, Beta testers who have signed up for Apple’s beta testing program will receive the version 10.12.5 of the MacOS Sierra beta. Users can also sign up through the beta test website to participate in Apple’s beta testing program.
Apple notes that Betas should not be installed on a primary machine, as it may come with bugs and glitches
